Cerberas Racing at Thruxton

Is anyone planning to go to Thruxton this weekend to support the Cerbs?

I presume that they will be there...

Cerbera would be more accurate I'm afraid. Were all entered and paid up etc but there's not a lot of point in pushing it round!

I'm planning on making it but will have sprogs in tow if I do come, as such I might be weather dependant as wet cold kids are no fun.

We will be there Andy having had the engine out to replace the water pump, blanked off the crossover pipes, removed the thermostat housing, put a new rad in (thanks ACT), stiffened the suspension as it looks to be dry. Car has been run at 5000 rpm for a few minutes and tops out at 100 C before coming back down. Must be fixed!!! I can't wait as we haven't turned a wheel in anger since the rebuild, just circulated below 5500 at Brands and never got any heat in the tyres at Siverstone - story already told!

Danny winstanley is racing his Tuscan challenge car this weekend at Thruxton, worth a trip out to watch, the last race at silverstone was nail biting stuff.

Tomorrow (Sat), first race for the GTCup I think kicks off at 1215, second at 1615.
