I'm sure that there are recommended alarm specialists in the York area but the person you really need to speak to is Carl Baker i'm afraid. He is the man that can and the oracle on the TVR alarms.

I took mine down to him at the start of the year and had the entire system re-set. Then re-programmed and had 3 sets of new blippers and chip keys synced with the car. I can't rate him enough !

Whats the prob?
You can buy new fobs on-line.
You can use Carl for all things TVR/Meta.
You can use Raceproved in Sheffield as I understand they can programme etc Meta alarms.
You can search the web for other Meta people...? They were also used in Fiats (eg the coupes) so there might be other people out there. Just search Meta.

When I bought my Chimaera a year ago the previous owner proudly showed me the bill from a TVR specialist to fix the alarm.
It states on the invoice that they had sent the alarm control unit to a specialist for "reconditioning".
When I investigated, what they had actually done was to take the indicator flasher fuses out of the alarm control unit and remove the siren completely.
That was an easy £300.00 earned for what I could do in 20 minutes .
If you need that type of fix I am charging £150.00
So I bit the bullet and gave Carl Baker a bell, as it turns out it was the best thing I could have done.
The moral of the story is:
Use Carl and pay once knowing the job has been done properly.
