Hello all,

I currently have a Griff 500 and if you follow the other forums you may have seen that my other half (anita) has just got herself a great Tamora.

Now, love my Griff as I do I've had him 3 years and it might be time for a change. We now have a great convertible TVR in the Tamora so now could be the time to vary the options. Always fancied a 4.5 and some LWs are now coming on the market at around 30k or so.

So ...... I just need enough of you guys to shout GO FOR IT and I could be on my way. Though in honesty I doubt I need any impetus having driven the Tamora over the weekend - can't have the girlie getting away

But seriously, what should I be looking for regarding pitfalls. I'm well aware of what happens in TVR-land but not so au fait with the oddities of the Cerb. Realise it will cost more to run and service and will budget for that.

All advice very welcome.

Cheers

Dave

I traded up from Griff to Cerb over a year ago now. The Cerb is so 'refined' and easy to drive - I always had to tank myself up on Red Bull to drive my Griff. I'm sure you wouldn't regret the change!

Done it TWICE now. No regrets just budget for 2x running costs of the Griff and go do it.

Risking repetition

Had a Griff 500 for 3 years but stayed with Cerbera 4.5 for 6 years.

when you say 2x running costs of the Griff can you put a rough figure on that ?

I ask as costs vary between one car and another if i doubled the costs for my V8S it going to be upwards of £6k which seems a touch high when that is just service and maintaince

[mall]not complaining about my costs i want the car in good nick
