After some advice please.

I believe this car for sale http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1244606.htm has be queried here before, but I'm not sure if any conclusions were made.


Tempted to go and have a look, but would appreciate any up front info before I go!

There are old threads on this one. Nothing bad was said from memory. Its a S6 thats been for sale for ever. It isnt exactly cheap but nor is it expensive. I would suggest you ensure its had a post 2004 rebuild and ensure it has had money thrown at it in the last couple of years, if so and the chassis is good then snap it up. Pay someone like Raceproved to inspect it?

ps dont get it inspected by anyone who just lies on a towel on the floor to inspect the chassis.

Well I've been round the block a few times with TVRs (this could be my 6th) so if I like it, I know where to take it to have a good prod around!

I love the 'full main dealer' servicing quote ! There havent been any main dealers for a few years. But I assume this is a claim that it has had every annual service carried out and that there is plenty of paperwork (incl the rebuild(s)).
