when i pushed the start button, just ticking but did not start...

can this be the famous fuse?

If you just get one heavy click, but no starter sound, it's probably the starter motor.

Try getting a friend to press the button whilst you hit the starter with something heavy.

I would suggest that your battery has run down. Put some jumper/booster cables on it if you need it to start asap or put the battery on charge. This will probably do the trick unless your battery is old and no longer holds a good charge.

got 3 cars but with this wonderful weather i wanted to enjoy the Cerb LOL
so actually she does not have to start if she likes a longer nap.

anyway i will try the charger, when i get my cable back from the workers , later on...

i do hope so, but usually i dont need to charge the battery for like 3 weeks...
and last time i was driving was 2 weeks ago...

i will let you know if she is running again later on

Your battery is degrading then, same as mine (had exact same symptoms by the way), I've had 3 batteries in less than 2 years, my latest one has a good warranty though so will be getting replaced when the time inevitably comes.

Don't know why it does it, it just does. From now on just make sure you don't leave it for more than a week.
