the gold tvr cerbera by carisma had bonnet bulges in it last incarnation which didn't look to bad (shame about the rest of the car!) a bit like the bonnet on an MG SVR. can only find pics of the original design though which has a different bonnet.

why not just cut some holes and put them on show for all to see

Surface and Design do a kit,its called The Cod Piece,you just estimate the size of the contents and they'll match bulge to their kit..
