Hi Guys,
I am a new proud owner of a 1999 Cerbera 4.5l in Turmalin metallic green (Mercedes colour), I absolutly love the sound and performance, the popping and crackling, etc etc. But I want to enhance that exhaust note even more, so therefore am looking to buy an aftermarket exhaust system.
Can you peeps help me out and guide me to to a good manufacturer.
Iam looking for something very loud, probably with de-cat pipes aswell.
As the car will not be used every day I'm not bothered about any droaning at certain revs or anything like that.
Your input will be much appreciated.

Over time there have been a number of PHers who have gone REALLY loud. Pretty sure they have all ended up putting something quieter on. A decatted ACT big bore sports system should give you something around the 110-115dba mark. IMHO that's plenty 
Remember, if you ever want to put your car on track (heartily recommended) you wont be able to due to the noise if you go too loud as the limited trackday silencers available just wont be able to cope with anything above about 115dba.

Yep thats the one, yes the condition is fantastic apart from a stress crack on the o/s/r quarter panel which I assume is a common problem but I will get it sorted anyway. It has been well looked after, with the guy before spending lots of money on it. So really it was a bargin. I guess this is the one...?

How come your only criteria is that you want an exhaust that is "Very Loud" - it's not exactly a quiet car with a standard exhaust. You now own a genuine 190mph supercar, you're not a Chav with a Nova 'wot wants it loud innit'.
It's real easy to make a car sound LOUD, just get rid of the silencers, the car will sound like $s
te, will probably have a detrimental effect on performance, you will (literally) set of car alarms when you drive past, your neighbours will get pissed off with you when you come home at 2 in the morning, and believe me so will you after a while.
Enhancing the 'sound' of the exhaust is subjective. The Cerb has an angry bark sound to it, it's nothing like the sound of an American V8, so you will never achieve that nice deep V8 rumble. There are a lot of owners who say the best sound is with De-cats and a Standard back box. I'd advise that you start off with getting a set of de-cat's and keeping the standard box and see what you reckon. Your priority should be getting a decent exhaust like an SP performance - about £1000 - then spending some money on getting it re-mapped to achieve a bit more power on the good exhaust system.
However it is your car, so feel free to do what you want

Fair point, maybe I did not explain myself very well, very loud was not what I mean't I was just saying what I was thinking at the time. I mean't enhancing the sound and I know that you will never get that american v8 rumble thats not what I am after. Yes it makes a nice sound in standard form but I would like it to be noisier, also my car will not be kept at home for most of the time it will be kept at my garage which is in the middle of nowhere so therefore will not be upsetting the nieghbours. By the sound of it (see what I did there? 
) IMO, a sports exhaust from SP or ACT with a decatt is what you're after. No louder. It will give noticeable sound gains over the standard setup.
FWIW I think the ACT 'big bore' tends to give a slightly bassier exhaust note. Having said that, PHer TC's SP system sounds magnificent (for the record I have the ACT big bore and it's fab

What Fubar says....I have an SP on mine and it has a similar back box to the standard exhaust. It gives a slightly bassier sound, it is noiser - despite thir claims that it is a 'quiet' exhaust - and has plenty of pops and bangs.
But try just getting a set of de-cat pipes. A standard back box with de-cats gives a slightly louder tick over sound, but when you floor the throttle you get an amazing 'angry bark' it sounds wonderful, and for £60 well worth trying.
The best exhaust sound I have heard was (ironically when I was on my way to get the SP exhaust fitted) when one of the rear tailpipes on the standard back box just fell off, suddenly I had a wonderful sounding exhaust note, I was almost sorry to have the SP fitted
