We bought a Chimeara of this chap a couple of years ago and it was/is an absolute gem! He's a good chap and was/seemed very straight so we would buy off him again.

thx, given the amount of work was hoping it was a known car, might go and take a look, as it seems to have had all the major gotchas done...

Its a 98 car with the later lights (the tuscan lights were fitted from 2000 on yes/no?)...always worth checking why these were fitted...maybe following an acident? Not always as some people prefer them and get them converted but worth checking if you can.

check the chassis and then check it again!

Otherwise, don't know the car or the dealer but it looks good.

A PHer (his name was Kostas...PH name quietquietCerb or something)bought a Cerb off Phil and I went with him to have a look. Works/worked out of a backstreet garage. Seems a sound chap.

Phil is/was well known in the TVRCC Sprint series in his tweaked Chim.

Kostas bought the black 4.5 and I bought the Chianti Starmist 4.2 one that Phil had at the same time I can honestly say that I've never dealt with a more honest and pleasant car salesman before or since, and he honestly loves the marque as well.
