One of my wheels has flaked a little. Does anyone know what the specification is of the paint on a standard 17" Raceline wheels from a 4.5 Cerbera?

You can get your wheels refurbished for about £30 each. Not sure how many you're wanting to do.

There's just a small patch on one wheel where the paint has flaked away. Is the covering of the alloys paint or is it some other type of coating?

Not sure...but on past alloys i've had, its been a coating of some sort.
Someone over the weekend showed me his Griff wheel he'd just had done. Excellent. The problem was..it now shows his other 3 up. He had it done somewhere in Leeds.

I've just acquired 4 17" from someone on PH (Thanks Phil!), looking at the spots, the wheel has some sort of laquer coating. If you get clear laquer (as used in two part metallic paint repair kits: Halfords), that will at least stop any further flaking.

We're going to get ours anthracited, once I've ruined the set of S02's that are on there. Any recommendations for where to get the anthraciting done appreciated...

Had a full set of rl7s done a few months ago but that was a complete refurbisment rather than a repair. Had them finished in something called power silver which is very bright and a little more grainy than standard. End result is a bit more like the finish on spiders and it makes the wheels really stand out.

Whole lot cost around £250 and they are now as new.
