Fuel pump spec?

Does anyone know what the fuel pump ratings/numbers are on my 98 4.2?
I am thinking i may be close to its limits. Naturally i will monitor fuel pressure when on the rollers.

You're still on the original fuel pump at over 600bhp

Blimey, I obviously didn't give the TVR pump enough credit. I changed mine out for a Bosch 044, exactly the same size/dimensions so fits the original bracket.

I'm considering moving my fuel pressure reg to the rear wheel arch and running a returnless system using both copper fuel pipes to the front of the car, one for each bank. Similar to original Monaro/camaro etc. Stops the fuel getting so warm.

I also fitted a Bosch 044 during rebuild. Same dimensions, in fact I'm sure the standard pump is Bosch. If you find the serial no. on the side, a quick google search will reveal it's max flow rate. It is quite potent (obviously if you're still using it!) but doesn't flow as much as the 044.

std is probably a 040 looks the same but not as much flow,

Still have the same problem since weekend... my fuel pump doesn't feed anymore...
There are still the Bosch fuel pumps availible as listet on the cerbera partslist

Bosch 0 580 254 957 / 128 l/h 5 bar

If I remember right, there are also an 8 bar pressure type of this pump availible.
Don't know, if there is any advantage of using the 8 bar type.

I too have swapped to this, but don't get caught out, as I did, the spade terminals are the other way round from the standard pump.

With the 044 Bosch pump you need to buy the 'tails' as well, so that adds to the price too.

Looks like the other pump comes with at least the inlet, but you will need the banjo, so it's a significant saving.
