4.2 and 4.5 chassis diffrent ???

i was wondering is the 4.3 and4.5 chassis are diffrent if i bought a 4.2 chassis would it fit me 4.5 car

They made a couple of changes to the chassis throughout its life, but nothing that would stop you from swapping an earlier one for a later one as far as I am aware.

The important thing is not having a rusty one!

The earlier chassis had the underslung rear anti-roll bar like a griff where the later ones have additional bracing for the bar going above the nose of the diff.

Yes...they are different.

But, what I think plasticman means is that relatively easily, either could be converted...whether you would want to or should is another matter.
