Rough 4.5

I've had my 4.5 Cerbera for three years from new and for some time have had a problem with the engine running unevenly in the low gears at low speeds (up to about 35mph). It goes back to the dealer every three to six months, is improved for a short while but eventally the problem comes back. So two questions:
1. Is this a common problem with the 4.5 V8?
2. Can anyone recommend a garage to fix this problem (I live in north Hertfordshire)?

Have you tried Castle TVR in Stanstead, guess not too far from you?

Could be throttlepots that need changing. Also HT leads. These have just been replaced on mine, and it runs 95% better.

Thanks for the link and tips. I'd made inumerable searches in the forum but hadn't thought of the obvious - jerky travel!!

My dealer has replaced all sorts on the engine trying to find a cure, from chips to leads, but never mentioned the throttle linkages. I'll check them tonight.
