Cerbera 4.2 - Remote Locking Problems

I'm sure this is a common problem however i cannot find any threads covering my query.
I have owned a Cerb for the past 6 weeks and was aware some work needed doing... work which has been finished and car is MOT'd for the next twelve months.
However, when the garage was working on the car the alrm was inadvertently activated. The remote key fob wouldnt shut off the alarm and the battery was disconnected to silence the sounder.
Consequently, now the battery is reconnected, all electrics are fine and although the engine immobiliser appears functional - the fob is not locking the car. The fob is active as it registers deactivation of the immobiliser etc. I can central lock the doors from the inside as well. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be?

or...
think there is a control unit in the boot - lift up the velcro strip of carpet in the boot above the fuel tank and check there...? Not sure what you can do other than check the connections? Sure others will be along with better/more detailed advice!

I had the same problem months ago. (from your description). Alarm worked fine, then bat disconnected/reconnected and then alarm works but would not lock the doors. IE alarm active but when you press the mirror button the doors pop open and the alarm went off.
I tried all sorts of ways to rectify this with no success until months later when out of the blue it just started working again. I suspect that one of the reed switched in the door/window mechanism is playing up but not investigated it yet. Be aware that two of the connectors on the window control box in the boot are the same size & orientation as each other so it is possible to re plug them in the wrong socket!
I had suggested disconnecting/re connecting the window/door control box but this never changed matters. Also try to re connect the alarm with the doors shut, open, windows up, windows down etc etc. but this made no difference either, for me. If the green LED button next to the siggy tray is flashing then I'd be more inclined to check all door connectors and reed switches first.
I tried all sorts of ways to rectify this with no success until months later when out of the blue it just started working again. When the doors play up it's often worth trying disconnecting power from the door electrics control box in the boot for 30 seconds then reconnecting. When you disconnect positive from the battery terminal you should wait for a little time, again 30 seconds is enough and when you reconnect to the terminal the alarm should auto arm. If the alarm isn't responding this is another thing worth doing.

In case this problem arises for others i'll conclude...
Carl Baker is definately the man to speak to, WITHOUT A DOUBT.
Called him of a particularly sunny hot saturday afternoon, one in which he clearly wasn't at work. However he still found the time to talk my through (from memory!) all the intricasies of the remote locking and door operating systems within my Cerb.
After around an hour and a half of squeezing and sliding about inside my car... sweating profusely, Carl had sussed out the problem.
The result involved a re synchronisation between the alarm and locking control box and the keys.
Don't hesitate to call this guy if you are in a electronics related mess
