Are there any mods available to get the cerb brake pedal and accelerator pedal further apart?

With wide size 12's I struggle to miss the brake pedal.

You could do what I did when I got the Elise & change your fashion sense to match the car (bl**dy poncy li'l trainers). Or... I imagine the Leven extension pedals could be angled apart a bit.

If you have alloy pedals you can undo the allen keys holding them on and swap the throttle plate with the brake plate.

I've just done the reverse of this so I can heel and toe (pedals were way too far apart and fitted incorrectly).

I just made a small tool to bend the pedals to the req'd pos'n as i too found them too close, beware to bend them in the middle so as not to damage anything up near the pedal box.

I have just been out to have a look at the pedal set up and would tackle the issue the following way.

Looking at mine (and presuming its the same) it is the brake pedal that you need to move towards the cluth pedal. There is no room to move the others outwardly.

I can't see how you could bend the pedal without removing it from the vehicle. Even if you could physically bend it, you may not only be bending the pedal stem and may be causing damage to other parts.

The best and most thorough way of going about it would be to remove the pedal (don't know how difficult a job this is) hold in a vice below the pivot point and carefully bend as necessary.
Be careful to know where you started from and where you need to be otherwise could end up all over the place. Simple case of 2 lines on a piece of paper under the Stem, or measure it when fixed in the vice.
You may find there is a certain amount of springback, so may have to go further than the line to get it where you need to be.

The Engineer in me thinks you will be fine moving the pedal around 15mm, but I would not want to be moving the pedal any more than this without understanding the system more. The set up would have been designed to have the force applied in one given position. Moving any more than this will start adding a side load to the pivot point.

This is not a big job and should not cost you anything more than a few hours of your own time. I don't know how 'practical' you are, but would recommend that either a Toolmaker, Engineer or Mechanic (or similar) helps you out.

Good luck, and nice colour car by the way !!
