Has anyone successfully fitted Honda S-2000 seats to a Cerb?
I tried tonight ..... and failed miserably.
The seats themselves are very similar dimensions to Cerbera seats but it's the sub-frames and tilting mechanism that won't fit properly between the sill and the tunnel.
I'm sure if I spend long enough tinkering with them I could probably make them fit but I'm going to take the easy route and see if anyone else succeeded in making them fit.

Ireland, be more specific. What is the problem with the runnners?
I take it you are intending to fit the Honda runners with the seats? Are they too wide or something? Or is it the tilt mechanism that you can't reach because it's behind the B pillar? Will the S2k seats fit the Cerb runners?

I was trying to fit the Honda seats with their own runners, etc.
I could fit them if I made up spacers to go beneath the runners but it would make the seats higher than the originals.
This would cause issues with leg-room below the steering wheel and also it would cause head-room issues with a helmet on a track-day.
The S2K seat runners and tilting mechanism are basically the one unit which is fixed under the seat at the outer edges of the seat (the Cerb runners are separate to the tilting and are located in under the seats about 75mm from the edge) and there isn't enough space for the S2K seat to drop fully to the floor of the car.
The handle for the tilting mechanism also is fairly chunky and fouls against the sill.
Obviously from that description the bolts wouldn't line up either but that wouldn't be a huge issue and could be sorted easily enough.
I'll take a picture of the Honda seat later on and I'll post it on here.

I had the same problem finding seats that fitted in the gap.
I first made a square box frame out of 1 inch x half inch box section , so it lined up with the existing tvr holes.
The s2000 seats sat too high on the floor of the tvr using their existing subframes and were wider apart, so i grinded off all the bits leaving just the 2 runners that are connected with a bit of wire ( if u look at the bottom of the s2000 seat you will know what i mean.
The next problem was when i tack welded the seat onto my new subframe, the bit where your bum sits is slightly lower and was catching not allowing the seat to move back and forward properly. i got my lump hammer and a piece of 4 x 2 and straigicaly lol reshaped it so it no longer caught. This doesnt make any difference when sitting on the seat, i had one done and one as it was and i couldnt feel the difference.
I then welded the seat to subframe and there you go.
There are a few niggles i have with them tho, although they fit in the tight gap perfectly the bolster near your shoulder just below the seatbelt holder hits the doorcard. Over the next few weeks il take them out and reweld them nearer the gearbox tunnel, and aldo i still feel like im sitting abit higher than the original seats so will prob have a go at mounting them lower.
Other than that they look amazing, il take a pic from the front in the min and post it and they provide so much extra support.

well iv had the rest of the interior retrimmed, a friend of mine that deals in prestiege cars has recommended a spray dye that apparently doesnt wear off, so i will end up dying the centers of the seats cream/white to match the dash.
The reason i changed was after having driven alot of sports cars i really like hugging seats and i had an s2000 and loved the seats. My tvr seats were due a refurb and i felt they looked a bit plain, so i decided to change.
My first choice was however tuscan or later style cerbera seats but i couldnt source any for a reasonable price.
well iv had the rest of the interior retrimmed, a friend of mine that deals in prestiege cars has recommended a spray dye that apparently doesnt wear off, so i will end up dying the centers of the seats cream/white to match the dash.
The reason i changed was after having driven alot of sports cars i really like hugging seats and i had an s2000 and loved the seats. My tvr seats were due a refurb and i felt they looked a bit plain, so i decided to change.
My first choice was however tuscan or later style cerbera seats but i couldnt source any for a reasonable price.
