Colour Change issues :S

i've just looked at that colour. It's alright but i changed the colour to the new lexus arctic pearl white colourl
I personally think it looks stunning now. But there are a few people who've raised eye-brows to why change it from a red to white. :S i dont see it as a bad thing, if anything it makes the car look more modern and more of value :S

Its your car paint it whatever colour you like.
For me the rules would be:-
-> Dont colour change a decent cerb
-> Colour change a Cat c/d only
-> Ensure you end up with an interior that blends with the revised exterior colour
-> Dont go for a trendy colour - go for something classy eg if it wouldn't go on an Aston or a Lambo etc then dont do it.

yea true i like the colour as well 
BUT i honestly was not trying AT ALL to make it look like the last cerbera lol.. the white isn't the same it's more of a flat/matt white colour on the last cerbera were as mine has the pearl affect on it..and also true about the clear indicators but like i said i honestly was not trying to copy the last cerbera
but i think overall majority opinions agree with colour change if it's suitable if you feel like it lol thanx dudes

Why?
The original paint was in an awful state, stonechipped on the front, parking scrape on the rear and blistered in most of the recesses (including the roof). The paint in the engine bay had pretty much flaked off.
I spoke to Gerbil at TVR, as although I owned a bodyshop I couldn't locate a PPG colour code. (In 1996 TVR were using PPG paint)
Turns out that in the early days they actually hand mixed the tinters, using a dry base and chucking in the appropriate amount of pearl. Gerbil actually remembered painting my car 3 times as the coverage was so poor. Basically I had no hope of replicating the tint and pearl content.
