Hi all,
Been casually surfing the forums and classifieds for a while now, redundancy put a big stop to a possible purchase in the last few months, but looking again!
Like the look of this 03 Cerb, colour scheme/interior just my thing but is £15k too good to be true?? Anyone know any history about her?

Having looked at many s6 over the last few months, my feeling would be that it would be a good dealer price if it met the following conditions:
Faultlessly documented and complete service history.
Guaranteed major engine work.
Further comprehensive warrantee.
Chassis so good you could laugh like a hyena as every other TVR ate your dust.
Fully T&T
Wlthout these it is only worth 60-70% of that.
All in my opinion of course. You'd also have to budget for a new interior colour!!!

Great stuff to all the repliers...much appreciated...I quite like the tuscan(?) style seats and interior colour tho.....Faultlessly documented and complete service history.

Would the 97 4.2 that had full body off restoration/engine rebuilt and balancing be a better buy for 13.5k?
Personally I would definitely look at that rebuilt 4.2. It seems to have had such a comprehensive rebuild that I can't believe that it hasn't been snapped up yet.
Certainly in comparison to an unknown six there'd be no question in my mind as to which to buy.

I have certainly spotted, in all the TVRs I have looked at in our TVR owning history, that there is nothing like an enthusiast owned car. The best person to buy from IMHO is someone who has lavished pro-active care on their car and is displayed in an alphabetical indexed and tabbed service history! They are the ones who never shut up about TVRs and go on about the best subsatnce for chassis protection (when I grow up I want to talk like this)! That was my thinking, but I took it off the ad in the end as it took up about 3 pages and I wanted to have something to talk to buyers about... Oh, the Pink one in the classifieds looks GREAT!
