Toyo Proxes do have a good reputation and I found them very good too. Now I have got Goodyear F1 Asymmetric because I wanted to try other tyres to see if I could find better. The one thing I found with the Goodyears was that they took nearly 1000 miles before they actually felt good. Until then you would think you've made a mistake but when they have worn in I would say they are very good. Either of these tyres is a good choice.
As for where to get your tyres, I use the internet to compare prices and usually go through Camskill. A local tyre fitter will then charge you about £10 a wheel to fit and balance which will be cheaper than buying everything through them (unless they have a deal).

Some people are talking about the Hankook Ventus S1 evo like it's the new Toyo T1r (only better). It's probably worth consideration if they make it in your sizes, it did very well in this german test: http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/2010-Auto-Bil...
It's almost impossible to say which is the best tyre for the Cerb - how can you tell unless you try each one under identical conditions on the same car?

Personally speaking I have had two Goodyear F1's where a crack has appeared on the side wall (both on the inside so not visible unless under the car) giving the impression that the tread is pealing away!!
My first was sent back to them they said they had no others like it so didn't accept responsibility but did however pay half the cost!!
This was back in 2007-8 mind you!!

The Cento is a less performance oriented tyre - so the sessanta continues. They've had great reviews and will definitely be my next tyre.

The rear end was all over the place, but as has been said they have "dried" out and now are awesome!
Trouble is with any of these tyres that grip like hell, is finding the limit! Safely!

Glad to hear someone else is getting on OK with the Bridgestones. I'm about to get a very good deal on two for the rear and was beginning whether to dug out and just go for the Toyos. Having said that, at the price I'm getting them it won't be too much pain to ditch them if I don't get on with them.

No direct experience, but I'm starting to hear on the grape vine that they're very good. Take that with a pinch of salt until I've something more concrete though...They're OEM on the 458.
