New Owner: Some questions

Hi everyone,
having just recently bought a 97 Cerb 4.2 (blue / magnolia / YEEHAA) I have now decided to start writing instead of just reading posts on this forum.
I have covered 1500miles without any bigger issues or faults after purchase, the car has been generally very well looked after (last owner for 10 years) and has only covered 35k miles.
However there are a few questions and I hope they are quite basic and easy to answer (cannot find anything via search function; but maybe I am not looking for the right words... I am not native English).
Here we go, thanks for answers!
1) Front screen fogging up from inside in hot weather: I have cleaned it several times now but it still keeps fogging up. I have no AC (this is the only thing that doesn't work) but I have the cold vent fully open and I can feel the air flow out of these small little holes right under the screen. Still the thing fogs up and this is really annoying. Is this a built in mistake (TVR) / is there a fix?
2) Central locking button inside car is blinking (high frequency; green) when I lock the car. The owners manual only talks about the red LED's. They also blink faster than they should... Overall this doesn't seem to cause a problem (e.g. battery going flat), I had the car sitting in the garage for two weeks and it still started. Still it is not how it should be so if anyone has a suggestion how to stop those LED's...
3) Small oil spots in garage: The Cerb seems to be dripping very small amounts of oil from different areas of the engine bay. I can always see this on a cardboard I have placed underneath. It's not too much and I am always checking oil before I start without result so far... is this normal and why is it coming from different areas? I didn't have the chance to put her on a lift to see for myself.

Just get it looked at next time it goes in for a service.

1/ possible misting reasons
there are some small holes in the bottom of the drivers side wing near the door hinges, at the bottom.
These are to let out any condensation when the air con is working (mine don't ether!)
Make sure they are clear, as the air inlet is very low at the front by the indicators and sucks up wet air. Have you been driving in the rain?? Keep well back from heavy spray!!
The hot air system could have been modified (like mine has) where it only recirculates the internal air, so you have to have a the cold fan on as well to bring in fresh air. Although I tend to just leave the window open a bit to stop mine misting in the rain.
You could possibly have a water leak that is allowing rain to enter the car, any hole in the bulkhead could possibly be the culprit, but under the rad header tank is the first place to look and then the cover over the clutch master cylinder.
Worst case is that the heater matrix is leaking!! Lets hope not!!
2 - My Green light flashes when locked.
I think it just confirms that the alarm has locked the doors??
3- Oil spots.
On mine the engine breather pipe vents into the bottom of the drivers side air box and they always leak a bit of oil there until sealed with loads of goo!
I at first thought that the power steering was the problem as it drips down onto the rack!!
It is very common for numpties to strip the thread on the oil drain plug!
Mine was sealed (I mean held in!!) with some sealant and Andy at APM found it and fixed it for me!!
Could have lost all my oil!!! FULL TVR DEALER SERVICE HISTORY!!! Bahh!!

Not trying to be flipant (or stupid) but :
1) Blow hot air onto the windscreen, not cold, or on days like this, don't blow any.
2) Mine does that so I hope it's standard.
3) The engine isn't the only thing that leaks. Could be Steering Rack, Could be Clutch Slave (I don't count that as an engine leak)
Hope all your troubles are small and chest-filling-with-pride-fixable.

You might have water inside the drivers side wing which is being blown up to the screen when the fan is on. Try and keep the fan on for as much as you can to circulate and help dry out the inner wing or the source of the water. Then monitor from there if it gets worse or better and in maybe work out a cause!
Who knows what the previous owner has done to the car.. Maybe as simple as a jet wash and sprayed water right into the intake hole below the front indicator!
My green light blinks at odd times so shouldn't worry too much about that!
Try cleaning the engine and seeing where the drips start dripping from and trace back from there!! But don't get too carried away... be careful of the electrics you don't want to cause any more issues!!
Mine used to leak from the cam cover just above the throttle linkage due to a damaged thread and would drip down around the Gearbox.

1) Yes, I have been washing the car using a high pressure washer and I didn't know about this air intake hole. I didn't go into this automatic thingy because I knew she wouldn't like that but obviously I need to be even more careful. I will also try to locate these holes located near the door hinges and see what I can find.
2) I think I will just ignore the blinking light now since most of you seem to have a similar phenomenon. Even though I find it quite strange to have three blinking lights that all keep blinking 24/7 after locking the doors. All with a different frequency... I love cars with a character :-)
3) Need to get a dictionary for some of the words + a lift to look underneath. Will let you know once the problem is located / solved.
