Wrong sized ends on Nitrons?

Anyone come across this one before? Putting the suspension back on the car at the moment, come to fit my rebuilt Nitrons and the bolts won't go through the spacers for the spherical ends. The holes through the spacers are a good 3mm smaller than the bolts I've got (new from SH). I know the bolts aren't the wrong size because they are a perfect fit in the wishbone.
