Steering shaft /spline bolt help

Hi guys,
Anyone know the size of the nut and bolt directly above the end of the screwdriver?
There is a small amount of play between the spline which comes down from the bulkhead area and the collar and it looks like the bolt is to small and is not allowing any more adjustment.
Any help appreciated as always.

The original bolt sheared on mine when I was replacing the UJs on mine.

I fitted an M8 stainless bolt with a stainless Nyloc nut on it and it's been fine.

The M8 stainless bolts I had were 80mm long or so and I had to cut it to fit to make sure it didn't foul against anything when turning the wheel so I'm not sure exact what exact length you'll need.

You really shouldn't use stainless bolts, they are too brittle.

Stainless bolts do not have the tensile or yield strength of carbon or alloy steel bolts graded 8.8 or above. We don't use any stainless fixings on the race cars for that reason. If you've had a non stainless bolt shear then replace it with a 10.9 grade bolt.
