AJP V8 Dimensions wanted

I´m looking for the width of the ajp at the top and the bottom ( marked with the arrows)

any help appreciated

Are you really expecting men with these types of cars to accurately estimate measurements in inches?

I was thinking about the AJP the other day and wondering how difficult it would be to fit in a Kit Car (Caterham) style car.

It's quite small, and weighs less than a pinto, so with mega power would be 'very' interesting.

I read somewhere the engine fits in a 22" cube

Briefly -

Tax and MOT was up Christmas 2008, took the car off the road as I knew the brakes need replacing and wanted to check the shims on the cams.
Brakes turned to full suspension and brake rebuild, blasting and repainting the wishbones.
Whilst checking the shims on the cams, I dropped an alloy spacer into the engine.
Engine came out to take head off, retrieve spacer, replace head gasket, change cams (old ones were fubar), and change timing chain.
Also changed the water pipes (rubber -> silicon) and water rails (old holed items to SS), and changed the rubber fuel hoses.

Just got the head back on over the weekend. Should have engine finished in about a week. Then just need to put new fuel hoses on, put front hubs on and brakes, put engine back in. So getting there... lol

bloody hell thats dedication- good work! Finally got the 'box rebuilt and on the path for getting a load of new bits. The ole girl should be back on the road in the next few weeks! Long overdue but finally have the cash.
I still need to find out this nice country road you were talking about.. I'll be heading over to Redhill at some point in the next couple of months and I seem to remember you weren't too far- how's about a pint if it's convenient?
