well had a good time at santa pod today with morgen ( sorry cant remember your ph name) My best time was 12.51 @ 114.77mph .. now iv been told that is a good time. I was pleased. 8 runs in total and it still drove me the 3 hours home. clutch smelt a few times but didnt let go. raced against a 4.2 cerb and a tuscan and some other tasty cars. beat them all, not that im competitive at all. was a fantastic day though thanks to some good company and good kids...............

You re In Croydon I m in Epsom we should hang around with our cerbs , you taking it out next weekend ..?.

i work from Epsom most days, in my van though. i dont often plan in advance but sure will be out somewhere. did u go to elmwood thing on sat, i was there, next few weekends very busy as getting married in a few weeks but always up for some fun

Can i ask what your other times were? ie 60 foot, 1/8 mile and speed etc.
Were you running standard or track tyres?

only things done are, short induction kit, decat, exsust, tune at Austec (do i get discount now)
8 runs and still drove home .
the top fuel funny car and jet car where still fantastic.
now on a high !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

was on road tyres, the old ones that came with the car when i bought it.... toyo's i think but nothing special ... Maybe when i change them next something sticky, will i get under 12 sec?

You would be suprised at the difference a pair of 888's would make. Especially if you had some traction issues on the day.
You should see at least a tenth off the 60 foot which equates to 3 over the 1/4 so you would be getting close to those 11's.
I am a little suprised at your terminal speed however. I would expect Cerbs to be over 120 with traction issues or not. Are you sure you kept your foot in past the boards?

oh my foot was in there all the way all of the time..... Im not shy when theres someone next to me trying to get there first........... the wheels had stopped spinning by the time i crossed the line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not aware of any non-turbo'd, non-supercharged, non-LS-converted, non-nitroused etc etc TVR going over 120mph on the 1/4. My best is 116.7 - I think some of the high bhp 4.5s have nudged 119mph (HarryW, Cyclone1 etc).

Your 60ft time is quite interesting - all my runs have been over 2 secs to 60ft. If I matched your 60ft time in the above run, it would be 12.0 flat. Maybe I should try harder Either way, the record still stands at 11.9 for a standardish Cerbera (i.e. remap, induction, exhaust etc) Good fun though isn't it!!

If your interested, check out fightingtorque.org Allows you to race over a standing mile against other similar cars. I'm planning on going along. I think that LS7 Sagaris might show up too...........

Sorry, my mistake. Yes mid teens is a good speed. But i seem to remember a Cerb running 125 at York.
Cyclone 1 has a time of 11.9 in a Cerb 4.5 but i dont know his terminal.

I hit mid 1.8s to 60 foot and remember Wadsapples Griff 500 hitting 1.7s last year at Shakey on R888s. The longer wheelbase suffers more for a good launch off the line but there are certainly improvements to be had.
My best ET was 11.63 @ 122.6 but i have had a 125 terminal on an 11.9

Blast from the past.....I'll try and dig out the ticket and post up the times.

From drag racing experience in the Cerb, a tenth at the start only equates to a tenth at the finish.
