Blue - It's The First Rule Of TVR Ownership!
Discussion
Ok folks.
Since some of you clearly won't learn the first rule of TVR ownership, Blue is best,
and to save going too off topic elsewhere, let hold this one-sided debate here.
It could be a very short debate.

does Chameleon means it changes colour? Cearly Peter did'nt want a permanently Blue cerbie or he would'nt stand out in the crowd ![]()
Chameleon simply means, MORE shades of blue.
Imperial, Tahiti, Viper etc etc.
I see no sign of pink (otherwise known as red,) Silver or Midas Halcyon pearlescent.
Anymore of that Greg and I'll have to instruct Peter to recall all non blue cars
to have the latest upgrade - a Blue respray!

If blue is best, why is the TVR branding purple ?
ex-purple TVR owner![]()
Most BLUE Cerbera's are designed to reflect a hint of purple.
TVR makes mistakes, we all know that and now they know it should have been blue
but rebranding would bankrupt the company.
I'm sure Ben would confirm that.

I don't even see why we're having this argument. Simple facts, all scientifically provable:
Blue cars look better
Blue cars go faster
Blue cars handle better
Blue cars are more reliable
Blue cars hold their value better
Drivers of blue cars are more attractive to the opposite sex, are better in bed, earn more money, and even smell better
Silver is reserved for TTs.
Red is reserved for Fezzas (and Cerbs that want to be pink).
Green is reserved for MGs & Jags.
Yellow is deserving punishment
Purple wishes it was blue (and will fade to it)
Black just needs a good wash & polish to show the blue up
Ted, all that needs to be said has been - you can close the thread now...

How right you are, thats all it takes is a simple wash and it shows the blue up (and puts it in it's place!*)

* Which is both aesthetically and alphabetically behind black

Surely the only reason you've had to upgrade to a 4.5 is because you're carrying around all the weight of that nasty blue paint?
I have black paint = no pigments. Must be lighter.
No, my 4.2 was blue as well.
Black eh? So you have the TVR Stealth model that doesn't want to be seen?!

Check out these real quotes re car colours -
'Bright colours generally work best on sports cars and hot hatches'
“Avoid colours like yellow, unless it’s a sports car, convertible or hot hatch'
'And if you’re buying an executive car go for silver, blue or black'. Cerb is not an executive car so dont do it

And finally............
'New research suggests yellow is in fact the colour of winners.
Yellow is a very positive colour and is associated with happy things like the beach and sunshine.
We all feel better when the sun comes out."
