MOT fail - shocks

Another one with cracked bearing mounts on the bottom of my shocks here guys - get 'em checked! I normally think of the MOT as a waste of time & money, but in this instance, it's probably a good thing it had to go in

What shocks were they and how long you had them?

They are probably about 20K miles old, were bought by the previous-previous owner. Same as these and a known manufacturer fault from around that time;

From the thread there it sounds like Gaz are pretty good about making things right - given they are probably 2.5 years old and I didn't buy them though, I've been advised by my garage to not expect too much if anything, but I remain upbeat

I'd see how much it is to get them rebuilt. I'd expect it to be cheaper than buying new shocks at least.

had mine rebuilt within 2K before... so they did well
