Rubbers!!

Need to replace the rubbers on the rear exaust mounting brackets were can i buy?? cheers

Halfords will have them or pop into your local exhaust centre.

They are Ford items.

I have no idea of the part number but I brought an old on along to the parts counter and the storeman had a pair on the shelf so they may be still used on some reasonably recent models.

A good tip is to put a jubilee clip around each rubber that way not only will the rubbers last longer but the exhaust tailpipe heights can be adjusted individually. It totally spoils the rear end look of a Cerb if the pipes sit too low or at different heights or both IMO

So I am not the only one to do this then
It is a good idea. I started doing it after one of my rubbers broke leaving the exhaust hanging.

It is a good idea. I started doing it after one of my rubbers broke leaving the exhaust hanging.

I was getting rubbers fail quite often until I fitted the stainless steel jubilee clips around the rubbers. It's now been about 3 years since I last changed them due to failure, stretching, etc.
