cheers guys. garage door is 2000mm, so that leaves me 67.5 mm per side.....hmmm I only have 70mm length left over as well. oh dear oh dear. think I may have to push it in and out.

do the miirors fold in? - cany see it saving more than 20 mm a side!

To me it looks like the waistline of the car is as wide as the mirrors, so even if the mirrors do fold in (I don't think they do, but I haven't pushed that hard...) it won't help.

Fits OK in my poxy little garage. I drive in as far over to the left as I dare, then slide the seat all the way back and get out. I have some old carpet nailed to the wall where the door opens.

I think one of the previous owners had a similar arrangement, as the side bolster of the driver's seat is well worn

I thought my garage was small! Is it a new build?

The mirrors do fold in,

My garage door is 2130mm and I can comfortably drive in without needing to check the sides.
The inside is 2400mm and if your a skinny fecker like me, then you'll be able to get in and out, any narrower though and you'll have problems.

I never realised the mirrors folded in. Are you sure?

No. it is built on the side of the house and there is no more wodth available. I have not tried the car in yet as my good mate joolz is keeping cerbs warm for now. I must admit i am worried, I have 35mm front, 35mm back, and 67.5mm either side. It is flat so I might be best pushing her in!.....bit different from my old garage...oh well moving on!

Wait till you try & get out of the thing once you've parked it.

Me thinks a dip in a vat of vaseline, may be required

Pushing in and out if fine, generally, but be prepared to pull VERY hard when the pads seize the discs after being wet! Standing on an alloy spoke and jumping up and down can help

I've read on here, somewhere, about someone lineing there garage in rubber, in strategic places, to avoid bump damage. Sounded like a good idea.

Also, you could consider putting a set of infared beams accross the front of the garage & hook them up to a sounder or light....

Which reminds me, since getting the motorbike I can't park as far in and need to move my patches of underlay on the wall.

My garage is 2400mm wide once past the door, and I can just about squeeze in and out of the car when inside.

mine is 2400 wide past the door as well. Is your door as bad as mine(2000)?

also Russell, I like the sound of being lined in rubber!

Door is 2130mm, handily offset too so that I have more space on the drivers side than the passenger side.
