Speed 12

Hey people,

I have only ever seen one speed 12, it was at the festival of speed in 2000. It looked terribly made. There were huge panel gaps and really didn't look like an expensive hypercar.

I am aware of the insane performance and rarity. It seems to be a highly desirable car now.

Does anyone know how many are still alive and how much they go for?

How many were built?

Have any sold lately?

Are there any for sale?

There is a whole load of stuff if you do a search. But in essence there is one Cerbera Speed 12. Another is currently being made from original parts.
The former is always for sale and is very expensive.

Hows the 2nd one coming on ? i remember reading about the project about a year ago in sprint. but since then gone very quiet.

Has the project stalled ?

Very much in progress - The rolling chassis was on show at the factory last weekend.

I did go to BNG, but i didnt get to the factory .

Is there any pics that can be posted of the one thats being built ?

I spoke to the guy who has a (the?) speed 12, in May this year - I was introduced via my girlfriends cousin. He said that it was having some work done (including an MOT!). He said when it was back he would take me out in it......heard nothing back yet though. bugger!

It's a race car not an expensive production hypercar. In a race car the real detail is under the bodywork and that, I can assure you, is a work of art.

Any chance of a little update as to how your project is progressing Graham?
I for one have never had the priviledge of seeing a speed 12 and I would love to see it and hear it running one day. You got any photos of the rolling chassis or body work?

I find it strange (or telling maybe) that there is virtually no footage (certainly no good footage) of this car running, going for it, tracking etc....

I carnt help you win the lottery, but a black speed twelve,,,,, you could pretend to be Bat Man on a track day.

and i once spoke to Rob Barff who use to drive for TVR and he reckoned the speed twelve on the roads around blackpool was totally amazing
