Bill for not breaking down: £10,000.00
Discussion
As of Friday, my lovely BLUE Cerbera will be the property of a new owner. In the last 10 months or so, it's never let me down, nothing's broken or gone wrong beyond the usual wear-and-tear to bushes and idiocy of Halfwits - it's been driven daily, and so on.
So, I went into the "edit history" page one last time for it to add in everything from the last month or so... [click] "Show summary"
£10k for 10 months of a car running like clockwork.
Ted, your car history system keeps multiplying instead of adding
I can see how it works out; >£2k on insurance, >£4k on upgrades, >£1k on two services, etc. But still!?!?! I was wondering exactly why I was needing to sell it to free up some capital!
At least there shouldn't be many more mods that can be done by the next owner.
Why the posting? Just a quick warning to people that think that "trouble-free" equates directly to "cheap". There are just too many upgrades begging to be bought nowadays!

The Nitrons are currently making a fetching ornament on my coffee table at home.
There's already a queue to buy a set of cheap, 10-day old shocks off me, too.
Unless a bargain of a Cerb RR comes along before things sort themselves out, I'm pretty sold on the idea of a Tuscan now - I'll have £3k sat around waiting for fireworks from under the bonnet from day one. So I'll be keeping them if it's a standard Tuscan (that I'll get upgraded to RR spec when the finger-followers go to the great big melting pot in the sky), or selling them if it's a RR Tuscan to start with. Anyone got a cheap Tus with a clattery engine they want to dispose of???
