Charging through the cigarette lighter

Hi All,
More newbie questions, can I use my old cigarette 911 battery charger with the Cerbera? I do have a trickle charger with it but need to fix the a broken spade connection before use.

I use a solar charger in my ciggie lighter just to balance the drain of the alarms etc. and this has worked fine for several years. I reckon it'll be fine.

A trickle charger is fine (I've used one for years), but I would avoid a full fat battery charger(if you see what I mean).
