Where does the PAS hose bolt to?
Discussion
On the PAS hose (from rack to pump), I have two P-clips. Where abouts are these meant to bolt to?
Also, does anyone have a picture of how it is routed through the front 'box section' of the chassis? Does it come out of the rack, and then go pretty much straight up and follow one of the main chassis rails back, or does it come out of the rack and turn towards the crank pulley and bend around the corner of the engine?

The High Pressure hose will pretty much only fit one way. The Union that bolts into the Rack is shaped so that it just about clears the chassis rail, fitting underneath it. Then the other Banjo end bolts onto the pump, there isn't really much you can go wrong with, it just sort of 'fits'. (So having said all that I guess you mean the Low pressure hose
)
Just route the Low pressure hose the neatest way you can do it, you'll probably do it neater than when it left the factory

.There were no P clips holding the PAS hoses on my car. But there are some for the fuel hoses.
The high pressure hose is routed out to the chassis rail and then straight back (tie wrapped to the chassis) then onto the pump.
The pic after the refurb shows how its routed out to the chassis rail.

Mike, what sort of rack have you got? That isn't a standard one.The high pressure hose is routed out to the chassis rail and then straight back (tie wrapped to the chassis) then onto the pump.

Oooo, my rack is different. Both hoses come out at the same angle, about 2/10 o'clock (depending on which direction you look from).
Also just realised, my hose is different to most peoples (might not be the high pressure one either?), it doesn't have the piece of solid pipe on the end which routes it back up and up along the steering column. It's been replaced by a rubber hose with a banjo fitting, so the hose now comes out and points towards the rack, pretty much the opposite direction to which it needs to be going in!

A good opportunity to fit an ATQ filter into the return line?Also just realised, my hose is different to most peoples (might not be the high pressure one either?), it doesn't have the piece of solid pipe on the end which routes it back up and up along the steering column.
