rear diff prop flange removal

Just thought i better check. when removing the input shaft flange from the diff to change the oil seal there are NO special alignments i have to keep a eye on are there?! I also take it that lots of penetrating fluid needs to be used..

ive not taken a btr diff apart but you will have to replace the crushable spacer and rest the preload/backlash between crownwheel& pinion

Yep, and set the backlash, that washer takes monster pressure to crush. Tricky in situ i would have thought.
