Well guys, it's been a pleasure. Trevs now up for sale(see autotrader). 2001 Speed Six with 12.5K on the clock.

I've enjoyed every minute of driving him and and he's been real good to me. But needs must and I need to realise some money for future business ventures. I'll be back though, give me a year or two (or maybe less if I can find a rich woman!)

Have no idea what kind of car to get next now. Most other cars are going to end up feeling like a shopping trolley now!!

Budget is anything under 20K. Ideas? I was thinking about another Cerbera that was older but I'm not keen on going for early S6 models ie 99 and anything older than 98's in the V8's. Also need to watch the running costs over the year, so another Trev maynot be a good idea??

Get a cheap shopping trolley, and an Elise for a quick fun fix? You can get a very sorted Elise for £12k, drive it for a year, and sell it for.... £12k. Not much to go wrong on them, etc, etc.

Edited to add: Plus, if you do that, you can sell the Elise off if you need extra capital. If you want to spend up to the £20k limit, the "shopping trolley" could be a 1996 Audi A8 4.2. They're going for about £7k with 65k on the clock nowadays. Fantastic car.

The audi is a beast but just too big. THink I'm leaning towards a BMW again. BORING i know, but its got to be practical for the next wee while.

What is it about the owners of Blue Cerberas...always seem to be selling them.

Staying power, thats what you lot need.

(on a slightly more serious note, good luck with the sale, come back soon).
