Could be a fuel issue, but the throttle pots normally are to blame.
Of course it might be down to who has set the car up and you would be wise to email
privately who has done it if they are well known?
I can certainly recommend a few people who would sort the car as I am sure others would.
Let me know

I'm thinking of knocking up a rose jointed linkage, using the existing rod but fitting female rose joints to the ends instead of the ball & socket arrangement.
Anyone know the thread size on the linkage?, i'm thinking M4 but we are talking TVR so its possibly some extinct impearial thread.
Anyone know for sure?
Darren.

Plenty of things it could be... poor (95 RON) fuel, throttle pots, lambda sensors (in theory), HT leads, spark plugs, maybe even valve clearances??
Yeah, I've had similar problems, particularly a misfire on certain cylinders until the revs are up and then they all fire in to life and give you a punch in the back. It can be lots of things that cause it.
It's definitely a garage job. Try Topcats or TVR Power - they'll sort it out. Good luck!
