No dip beam

Hi, I seem to have lost dip beam. I have checked the fuses in the boot and the connections on the bulb as well as a trying a new bulb. I've lost them on both sides as well. The main beam works as does the side lights.
Does anyone know if there is another fuse somewhere that I don't know about.
My MOT is out and I'm getting cold turkey through not driving the beast so can anyone help out? Cheers

It looks like we have the same problem! i reckon its related to a fault with the un named box i am asking about in the boot on top of the fuel tank. Mine seems to have a transistor burnt out - it smells very bad!

Yup, quite common for the wire to burn out in the box. Open up and quick solder (or get a mate to do it ) should solve the problem

If you beep the horn and try them again, do they work? I sometimes need to do this......

I have to do that to get my wipers working sometimes Nicky. I think that problem is related to the (kinked?) ribbon cable in the steering wheel boss.

I had this problem - I couldn't find any magic fix on mine so APM got me a new lights control box.

This is what I've heard too Fubes - I have been meaning to replace the ribbon cable for a while now - it's on my list for winter, along with steering rack , replace the bushes (maybe not the Diff one) and a scrub and moisturise

Hi yes I think I have found the problem.
That box your on about has a badly burnt connection on in so I've ordered a second hand one.

I had one of these boxes go and TVR power put me in contact with a guy who will repair and test them, guy done a good job and turned it around in 10 days, also very helpful as i had to replace the connector block on the loom.

If you one to repair your old one i can pass his details onto you
