im thinking of taking the cats out ,
pros and cons are ?????
is it a dog to do ????
best place to buy new pipes bits????

Pros : Cabin is cooler in summer, less heat around the clutch, releases a bit of power. pops 'n bangs a bit more.
Cons: Cabin is cooler in winter, It won't pass an MOT and you'll be causing the end of the world to happen 1 mlli-second sooner than it would

Easy job to do. Decat pipes can be bought from all the usual suspects. (eg ACT)

i got mine from ACT last week, nice and easy to deal with. was going to fit them myself but the tyre and exhaust place i use only charged me £35 so thought why not and let them burn there hands taking the cats off.

I'm toying with this as I have a rattling / collapsing cat which, I believe is strangling my 4.5

However, a decat with Sports Exhaust may be just too much for my (and neighbours) ear drums...

How do you find the exhaust fume smell on a decat?

mine is a 4.5 with decat and sport exhaust , it is really really loud if you drive it all the time it might be abit too much and i had fight with my neighbours twice ,whole familly stopped me on the middle of the road complaining how loud my car is and not to drive around my area .i just told them to go fk themselves and started to smoke my tires and drive off

thanks for the advice decat it is i think ,
as for loss of heat fab as for cold in winter i will just have to get were im going quicker ,
