I need to replace the steering rack in the Cerbera. As this was refurbished a couple of years ago and started failing sometime ago, I am concerned that a good refurb on this rack might not now be possible. It's too big a job to keep doing!
Long shot - but does anyone have a steering rack lurking, that they would to sell by any chance?

I put a wanted ad in the classifieds on here when I wanted one and got a handful of replies.
I ended up buying the one that was closest to me and the seller was also a regular contributor on here (not saying that would mean I wouldn't be shafted but it would have been easy to "name and shame" if I had been. FWIW the rack I got was fine).
I'd say it'd be worth putting up a ad of your own.
Slight;y off topic but I will be taking my old one completely apart over the next few months in an attempt to rebuild it and I plan to take pictures of every step and will post them whenever it gets done.

Erm, hadn't thought about it Gazzab. I am not planning to attempt the refurbishment myself - but happy to post pictures once it's out if that's helpful?Ireland's pictures will probably be more useful as he's going to do the work himself!

Get it refurbed at Kiley Clinton, replace all the flexible lines and fit an ATQ filter in the return line!Long shot - but does anyone have a steering rack lurking, that they would to sell by any chance?

Thanks Brummie . I had already been advised that a Tuscan rack would work well too (if not better!), so had posted in the Tuscan forum too.
I understand that a Cerbera can accommodate either rack, but I don't believe it works the other way round. I've been told that if I do get a Tuscan rack, the it's necessary to get track rods too, but that the steering should feel better.
