Wonderful dai capp!
Me, I just blasted off into the countryside for some fun with mine.
Currently sporting the 'Donington Gruby' look it was a perefct 'Cerbera day'.
Loads of popping, some gunning on clear open roads, the odd drifting moment
and plentry of waves from people.
Now, what shall I do, ok...time for bathe her.

Washed the cars this morning. Ten minutes later, bird deposits load centre of bonnet on one, with overspray reaching other. Not happy. Went to play golf - on second tee, ready to swing, bird deposits load on top of ball. I'm sure they're following me!
I wouldnt go out with her again mate.
This ladette culture is terrible!

Thanks for the comments...
I still need to give this one the Zymol finishing treatment but it's pretty shiney without. I'll probably do the Zymol tomorrow if the weather brightens up a bit. I had a Grigio Titanio Tuscan before the Cerbie and that used to come up like a mirror with zymol!
If anyone's interested the Cerbie was done with Zymol car shampoo, colour wax (blue - just to accentuate the finest cerbera colour) and autoglym super resin polish - nothing fancy
All the best

That's one grubby Cerbera, Graham...
Mind you, at least you have a good excuse - thrashing it around the countryside!
Can you go and create some more nice weather like yesterday so I can finish mine off!
Cheers

Dai, can you list the names of the products you have used please and also the oprder in which you used them as I think your car look spectacular and I also have the same colour car and would now like it to look the same as yours, I also have a scoob in blue and think that would look the dogs with the same treatment. Thanks in advance.

Mark,
Thanks for the compliment...
I used the following:
1. Rinse off with plain water
2. Wash with Zymol car shampoo
3. Rinse off with plain water
4. Leather down and then remove any smears with a micro fibre cloth
5. Wax with blue colour wax
6. Wax with Autoglym Super Resin wax
7. Finish with Zymol Carbon wax.
The pictures here were taken pre stage 7. If you find the thread called something like 'even sadder' you'll see it after the Zymol treatment...
Actually here's the pic post carbon wax...
All the best

What make is the blue wax ?
Its called Colourwax and is made by the same folks as make Turtlewax. Its just a cheap wax available from Halfords. It's only use in this process is to tone down stone chips and to provide some colour depth. It's not a very good wax to use on its own.
I think you'll have to visit the internet for the Zymol Carbon wax on stage 7 BTW. I've never seen it in a shop.
Cheers
