I've seen people mount amps under the relays, but I'm not sure how close that is to the fuel tank. Is it just a fibreglass partition which I'm able to drill some mounting holes into? I know behind the relays there is just a partition as a hole had been drilled into that for the (aftermarket) alarm wiring to go through to the boot.

Help much appreciated smile Pics of existing installs would be great too smile

I know ICE in Cerberas is controversial though tongue out

DON'T drill holes just under the relays, that IS the fuel tank the relays are mounted on!
Here it is partly removed:

To mount the amp I fixed a bit of MDF to the NS rear wing by bolting through in to the arch, the tyre is very close but they have been there for years with no probs. I cut the bolts to the exact length & used a thick bit of MDF so I could countersink the nusts into it so the amp didn't hit them when mounted. I've got the body off at the moment so the bolts heads in the rear wheel arch are easily seen here:

Here is the amp in the boot:

The wires can be routed in above the wheel arch & come out behind the rear seat, you get in there by removing the helmet holder, or make the helmet holder in to a sub holder wink

Here's mine hanging out of its hole:

Here is a rubbish pic of it under constitution (it's that old that digital cameras were very new at the time)

Good luck!

The fuel tank is the front wall of the boot - do not drill into it! Below the fuse box is a panel with plenty of space behind it and fine for amp mounting. If you reach a hand in behind the back light you can reach round and feel for yourself.

I drilled a couple of holes and used rivnuts to give mounting points that will stand a certain amount of abuse.

I pretty much assumed it was the fuel tank too but I've seen many Cerbs with amplifiers mounted to that point.

The amp will happily sit somewhere else anyway, i'd prefer it out of the way, it'll look much neather somewhere else too smile

If you have a chat with Car Baker about fitting an Amp in a Cerbera, he'll give you some excellent advice. He's probably more of a TVR ICE guru than he is an alarm guru. He set mine up for me. Apparently a big Amplifier is a waste of money in a Fibre Glass car, Fibre glass absorbs all the important bass frequencies. A Small powered Sub woofer in the cubby hole, and decent speakers is all you need. Don't argue with me though, argue with Carl smile

I just happen to have the cover and light cluster removed, when drilling holes be careful you don't snag any wires thumbup

Pretty sure there's an earth that all the control boxes go to that is tucked just above the tank on the drivers side...don't have any pics of when I took mine apart, but fading memory thinks its there.

Not my pic but the open ended wires seem to all connect to the tank bracket on the right hand side...which tallies with my memory!
