Testing Wiper Motor

I am sure my park switch has failed have taken it out and put a new one on order.

I took it off then cleaned it (after I found all the bits as it fell apart when I took it off ) re connected and the wipers came on full speed only for a brief while then blew the fuse.

Is there any way I can bypass the park switch just to test the motor is ok, there is a red, yellow and blue wire coming from the motor, not sure which wire does what, or should I just step away?

Just had a look and its fked so need a new one of those as well.

It was full of water and just a wee bit rusty.
