Hi all,

See here this autotrader link. I'm still on the search for a Cerbera (4.5, dark exterior, light interior, 18" spiders, post 98 if poss), and see this one in Autotrader.

autotrader link here

I post just to see if anybody knows the car - when I do eventually buy, ideally I'd like it to be one that is known to people.

Any thoughts (on colour, cost etc) dearly appreciated from an ever-learning Cerbera buyer

Thanks
Tony

It has been discussed before. Cant remember the outcome of discussions but it was less than eager re the car.
If you really want a cerb then call andy at APM or Joolz and ask them to recommend a clients car! Job done. A car with low risk and at private price.

Possibly a Catch 22.

There are a couple of what I would term 'under priced' 4.5's out there right now.
They may be sound, but then again why the low price?

Short of seeing them, we have no idea if they are the bargain buys they say,
but gut feeling and personal experience says otherwise to me.

If you don't want the dealer route due to cost and are wary of private sales,
James Agger will sort you out as he has many others here.

Good luck with the search though.

R plate at £19K seems a little on the low side but nothing too scary, about right for Winter, little low for summer.

I'd be more worried personally on a car of that age that I didnt know the history of by the front and rear light upgrades/conversions.

Has it had the all too familiar look at the Armco and lost its arse and front at some point?

no idea but it looks lovely in that colour and with the front and rear light conversion.

It's not that underpriced, it is after all an early model 4.5. Perhaps the price is a few thousand under the average because they need to sell it for financial reasons and have had no interest at a higher price.

i think this cerb has been in a smash. seen it advertised before. as the price suggests it must be on the list. if it was a sraight motor it would have been long gone at that price.

This one is in Morpeth near Newcastle. Is it really true that cars cost more south of Leeds

If so its about bang on in my books - but watch out for that first service bill - it wont be a small one if you buy through the private ads (see earlier posts!!).

Thanks everybody for your replies - appreciate them all.

Take what you say about watching out for low(er) priced examples.

I will give James Agger et al a call in the coming month or two!

Thanks again
Tony

That's the score I'm afraid.

I feel more at home in the Tuscan although I've never driven a Tamora or T350 but these things are a long way off now.

Maybe I'll be back in a used Sagaris or something!
