Goodyear F1 on Cerb?

Morning chaps/Ladies, does anyone have experience of fitting Goodyear F1's on a Cerb? Can I ask why it only seems to be S03's and Toyos that are used? (Showing my ignorance!!) Thanks
Bridgestones/Toyos are generally the ones talked about as they were as-recommended by TVR (and not necessarily because they're the best). No reason why another tyre with characteristics you prefer shouldn't be on the car.
I've got Fuldas on mine (fitted by previous owner and virtually new when I bought it). Daft as it may seem, cheaper tyres are not neccessarily a bad thing. Most tyres appear to be a relatively hard compound to deal with the vehicle weight and commensurate wear . Because we are driving around in a feather on wheels, softer compound tyres can equate to more grip, without the weight related wear, in fact some of the Pirelli tyres could be too hard & lethal on a lightweight TVR. Mine seem to behave themselves in all weather, no bad slipping to date, and very acceptable grip.

Just remember that Pirelli P-Zeros were fitted to the Elise as standard for years...
Although I switched a couple of them for Bridgestones
I was at the factory in Blackpool yesterday for some remedial work on my Cerbera, which included fitting new tyres - Goodyear F1s, which the factory seems to have settled on for now as a replacement for the out-of-favour Toyos (too soft a compound means they have been going out of shape on some cars). Favourable initial (very initial) impressions on the Goodyears.
Great stuff Jed, thanks...i've booked mine in for next week....just a quick note for anyone in the north west - ATS, National Tyres etc were around the £580 mark for full set fitted inc VAT but i've found a chap near Preston who is doing the whole lot for £437 INC VAT fitting etc with laser tracking thrown in...email me if you want his details, he can get pretty much any wheel/tyre you might want.
