Hi All,

I've just got home, and I've got a smile as wide as the Niger Delta. I am now the owner of a Gunmetal Grey 4.2 Cerb, and it's bloody great, hurrah!

Is anyone going to Brands tomorrow? If you are and see a spectator (I'm not driving!!) with a dodgy looking 'tache (it's for charity) asking lots of questions it may well be me. Come and say hi if you do, I'd love to meet more of you.

When I woke up and saw snow this morning my heart sank, but actually it's not been too bad, just a light dusting. I am being exceptionally cautious and have no intention of pushing the envolope, not for a long time yet anyway.

Awesome day out (if not a little chilly) at Brands Hatch today. A huge thank you to 'grahamn' and 'itsallyellow' for the passenger laps, it was great to get a feel for what these incredible cars are capable of. Mike, my internal organs will need time to settle into their rightful positions I suspect. To top it all off the 3-ship formation with 'grahamn' and 'amazon' through the Dartford Tunnel was thunderous, and great fun.

Thanks to everyone who have sent messages of support, and also for those of caution in these wintery conditions. Rest assured, I am not going to be pretending I am Lewis Hamilton any time soon, I have a lot to learn and I intend to spend a good amount of time doing just that.

I knackered my back big time in the morning and Olly saw me packing up at the end of the day and offered to help with lifting the trolley jack and other heavy things into the car, nice chap that Olly bloke, don't thik he has a mind that has plumbed the depths of depravity that yellow cerb owners seem to reach ;-)
