Intermittant Wipers

My intermittant wipers are only sweeping across the screen and a third of the way back. The continous wipe go all the way acrosss and back, but when the wipers are turned off they just stop wherever they in the sweep.

Is is a relay problem or the wiper stop switch? If it's the stop switch, where is it and how easy is it to replace?

Sounds like the park switch. Someone with skinless knuckles will be along shortly to explain how to change it

I had this exact same problem, lived with it for a few months but then it got worse so decided to do somethin about it. I changed the park switch but no joy, turned out to me the black box under the dash.

1st try re-setting dash control box under dash, disconnect power from box (the one with the ribbon cables) and re connect. If not it could well be the park switch or as it was in my case a combination of park switch and a weak motor.
