Dashboard Clearout

Hi All,
Been clearing a few bits out and found some old dashboards/templates I had made up when I had my Cerb.
They are all stainless steel with one that is covered/wrapped to look like carbon fibre (looks good) this comes with the matching board for the control switches.
Another is just a brushed finish and could possibly be ok to fit but it's not immaculate as it was just a test piece.
The final one is finished in a swirl effect (forget the correct wording), this one is quite crudely finished as it was just to see what the swirl finish would look like, however it would be fine as a template to get one made without having to remove your existing dashboard.
My intention was to have them made with a slotted section for the temp guage so that they can fit directly without the normal hassle associated of re-routing piping, the other option was to get a really thin version made up to bond over the original....but never got round to it.
If you want one then then just drop me an email and state which one;
CF covered with matching control switch board (would look good as a replacement)
Brushed SS (could be used as a replacement)
Swirl effect (use only as a template)

Please note I have never fitted them so can't guarantee perfect fit although I wouldn't have thought it would be a problem.

I've replied to emails, so pending replies should just have the swirl effect dash left. There is no cost attached to these just postage to be covered.
If anyone is interested in the swirl effect dash then it can either be used as a template to get another one made up or it can be tidied up (the holes cut are crude) and covered/wrapped to look the same as the carbon effect one above, it's worth having a go for anyone with even limited DIY skills

Hi Loz,I probably forgot I even had them when I sold it on / you bought it. If I'd had them to hand then they would have gone with the car.
Have you got the new one sorted yet? I have some prototype Whirlwind Pipes for sale (only joking, these are all I have left to remind me of the old Beast!).

Just a heads up tho, the water temperature is a capillary type sender unit. This cannot be removed from the gauge end and has to be removed from the water pipe and pulled all the way back to the dashboard area in order to feed it through the holes in the old and new dash. Beware capillaries are very delicate and the sensor end can be a nightmare to remove from the water pipe. Spray with plus gas or WD40 24 hrs before you plan to do the job and be careful not to kink the capillary itself. If you do damage the said capillary repairs take a while at Speedy Cables and are quite expensive.

There is an ever expanding pile of goodies next to the car to be added over the christmas break, it is pretty well sorted anyhow though, cant wait to get some proper use out of it!Jules.
Its just had some new standard pipes so i should be able to pass those on to somebody once Joo has a play with a short induction setup, then we can get back down to business

The heater control was very fiddly. It involves unsoldering (if that's a word!) a fair few connections and then resoldering them back again. I did not actually do mine! I got my friend who is much handier with a soldering iron to do it!markh1 said:

Sorry Paul, forgot all about posting the dashboard etc out to you. I will post it out to you this week, I don't want anything for it, just a small donation to cover postage.I'll have to check who wanted the others and get these posted too.
