I have had a Chim and a Griff before, but sold before going abroad. I still remember the scariest drive I have ever had (bar none) with Simon at Fernhurst in a Cerbie about 4 years ago. And that has remained lodged in the grey cells......I sat in a 4.5 last time I was in UK and I found for the fat arsed expat, the seat was small, the window to close and my head touched the roll bar. I fancy a Cerbera but a speed 6 (as I have mellowed and married along the way).

Can large buttocks, long legs and a big 'ead really fit in a cerbie or should I think about something else?

I may be back.

Plenty of room for long legs. The older Cerbs up until the Tuscan came out had different seats from the new ones. Personally I like the look of the newer ones, but the old ones were comfier & more supportive (for me, anyway). Not sure what you can do about your head not fitting! Did you sit in the passenger's or driver's side? The driver's side is much more roomy.

I sat in the driver's side of a black 4.5. Beautiful view looking forward, with the fantastic dials staring back at you. To get my line of sight right (to avoid hunching myself up), I had to lean the seat back and in doing so my head touched the roll bar. Maybe if the seat was a bit lower that would help. Do you know if that can be done?

I find that one notch out of place on the front/back or the seat angle and my head touches the roll bar.

You need to play about a bit more and try very fine adjustments to the seat. You will find a position where you'll fit.

BigBrin, I'm 6ft2 and fit in no probs at all. Plenty room width ways also unless your 25stone!

My speed six 2001 is for sale at the moment. See www.cerbera.com or drop me an email if your interested. Cheers

Jamstar,

thanks for your note. I am still abroad at the minute and not (now) scheduled to be back until end June. I guess I'll have carry on the dreaming for a bit longer. I hope the chase isn't better than the catch. Thanks anyway.

I am 6' 6" tall and although I am a skinny git I fitted in fine. I too found my head was hitting the roll bar at first but it took me a while to actually get the seat right for me. In the end I moved the seat forwards as even with my massively long legs, with the seat all the way back my arms were too straight and I didn't feel I had enough control. Basically there is room for ALL shapes and sizes but it takes longer than in a "normal" car to get comfy. In ANY other car the first thing I do is stick the seat right the way back and go from there. In TVR's (I owned a griff too) I have never used the seat all the way back.
