Steering Wheel
Discussion
I just had the front tracking checked on my car today and after driving off realised that the steering wheel was not straight (buttons at 11 o'clock, & 3 o'clock, if you see what I mean).
'No problem' I thought, I'll just pop the wheel off and move it round the splines like every other car. Of course, the Cerbera seems to have some kind of woodruff key arangement meaning the steering wheel only goes on one way.
Whats the best way to fix this? I can go back to the alignment place next week and get it fixed by adjusting the tracking again, but are there any other options?
Are the U-Js in the shaft (behind the front wheel) adjustable (splined)? And has anyone else done this?

Take the right front wheel off and you should see the UJ. Its fine to adjust it, we did ours - its just a case of getting everything lined up so the wheel is straight when the wheels are straight. Hope I could help.
Btw, whats the mileage now?? I think we are still 50k miles down on you...

Thanks for the replies chaps. I'll take it back to the alignment palce tomorrow and see what they can do. Otherwise I'll fiddle with the U-J myself.
The settings only went out as I'd adjusted the camber and castor in a vain attempt to corner better
My car has now done just over 94000 miles, still on the original engine and clatter cams! I'm doing a trackday at Bedford on saturday and then will get the car serviced after that.
Hopefully the case hardening on my cams is still intact
