Some of the controls are interesting: Things like the indicator stalk, which is not only on the wrong side, but also seems to flap around with a mind of it's own when I try to cancel it. And I managed to find the light switch only just in time before it got dark. I've still not worked out the heating - although the very idea of "heating" is a new concept after the VX...

And it has so much sheer road presence. My VX is bright orange, so I'm used to the occasional stare - but with the Cerbera they seem to hear you coming first! Also completed my first solo tunnel run through Dartford Tunnel on the way home...

I had the lights made for me by quad conversions 9 years ago. They were originally on my previous Chimaera. At the time they had never done anything for TVR until i asked. Now they offer them on there site. I went with a double ring l.e.d instead of a single and a reflector unit.

They look great. However, they would absolutely do my head in as they are... I hope the new owner aligns them better - its tricky as the back isnt even close to being square (check the rear light cover heights against the "bumper bulge" - I've seen them out by as much as 4cm/1.5 inches!) - but the droopy side lets the units down, so it'll be worth the effort.

They are aligned properly. Its the angle the photos are taken. And the lights themselves are recessed deep into the pods.

Re flappy indicator stalk. You do know you flick it the same way to cancel.

Maybe, but it isnt taken at that much of an angle, perhaps the left side have slipped lower over time?

Yes thanks - starting to get used to it now. But I couldn't remember how to operate main beam when I needed it this evening. D'oh! Found it now. Had to learn to use the wipers for the first time too!

So is the double LED unit road legal without a reflector?

I like the idea of the 2 LED rings especially if these were non-chrome i.e. matt black

The other option is the other light they do. In matt black it would be similar to the later light without the hacking.
