Chassis number plate

I am starting a reshell and chassis restoration on a crash damaged car I bought a while back. As mine is crashed at the front the tvr plate from under the bonnet that has chassis number, paint code etc on it is missing. Is there anywhere I can get a replacement for this?

Also, as this is missing is there any way of finding out the paint code? Mine is a dark metallic blue. Have tried ringing the original supplying dealer but they can't seem to find it.

It was not removed as part of the process of writing the car off was it?

No, it was only removed because the piece of bodywork where it would sit is no longer on the car

Starmist blue was a popular TVR blue in 97 - 99 time.

Yeah I've got that but I couldn't find anywhere in the book that mentions the paint? Where should I be looking in the book?

Colour may be listed in the handbook and you could then reference this against the list in the general TVR forum. There's a pretty complete list in there.

Post a picture and someone may come up with a good start as to what color it may be, then you could move on to the color codes which are on here somewhere.
