headlight conversion

hi can anyone post some pictures of there headlight conversion and where is the place to purchase these bad boys i want to give my cerb a more modern look and thinking about a paint job shortly so want headlights first so i can have blended in what sort of price would be expected for the lights

I've had it done and agree it improves the looks - plus if you've got a few stone chips it's a good way of tidying up the front end at the same time. It will cost you about £1,600 for a decent job.

I've got the projector lights, but in "pods" which look nowhere as neat as the fully blended in look. Intend to do this myself when stone chips get bad / funds allow.

I did it my self many years ago on the side of the street with a jigsaw & some fibreglass matt & bit of filler. Held up fine ever since, it's best to leave it day or two to really go off (preferably in hotter weather than this) to really set before doing the final finishing or it will shrink on the joins & you'll end up with a slight dip in the finish. I glassed over the little side lights as I preferred the look with out them, the side lights are in the main beams now.

I took these pics on a very old camera phone back in 2004 so they are very bad, sorry...

Go for it, I can't remember how much the bits were now, don't think it was crazy. The respray was though, something like 1.5k just for the front end so mates rates would be good there!

Luckily for us someone had clipped the side so insurance covered a lot of the respray costs

where is the places i can buy the headlights i see carbon cerbie does the pods but doesnt seem to sell the lights them self what would be expected in cost for lights and pods

Looks like the lights are £70 ish each from some where like this I can't see the stainless surrounds on their web site though & I think I read on here some one else saying they were having trouble getting them. You can try ringing those chaps tomorrow, they will be happy to help. (As would any of the other parts suppliers)

just looking at youre picture of the car have you filled the side light in also wondering can you fit pods without blending just until i am ready to paint full car also do you have to cut old pod out
